-- Our ward summer activity will be a fiesta this year! We will be having a taco/nacho bar! It will be held on August 17th, 6 pm at Evergreen Park. Please sign up here to help with sides/desserts. Bring a lawn chair and come enjoy delicious food, fun games and great company

-- Sister Dixie Fraughton's daughter has told us she is enjoying reading magazines. If you have any magazines lying around that she might be interested in (not in need of church publication magazines at the moment), you can drop them by a home of one of the presidency members (Sister Squire, Sister Scherbel, and Sister Oldham)

-- Our stake leaders hold a mission prep course for all who are interested on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the American Fork High School seminary building. The meetings are at 7:30 am.

-- If anyone is in need of a ride to/from church please contact a member of the RS presidency and we will help make arrangements.

-- Temple Cleaning opportunity: Our Stake has been invited to help clean the Mount Timpanogos Temple during the week of August 19-23. We need a total of 98 volunteers each ward has been asked to provide 11-12 adults. Click this link to sign-up. We need volunteers for the following dates:

Monday, August 19 from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm - 30 individuals

Tuesday, August 20 from 10:00 pm to midnight - 17 individuals

Wednesday, August 21 from 10:00 pm to midnight - 17 individuals

Thursday, August 22 from 10:00 pm to midnight - 17 individuals

Friday, August 23 from 10:00 pm to midnight - 17 individuals

The temple staff is aware that the Monday times may interfere with picking up children from school. If you need to leave early on Monday for this purpose, you are welcome to do so. All brothers and sisters need to be endowed and show their current temple recommend upon arrival. Members should come wearing Sunday dress and will be given white scrubs to wear while cleaning. They should also wear or bring comfortable shoes in which to work (the shoes do not need to be white). Please enter the main entrance when arriving at the temple. Please note, it is illegal to park on the South side of 700 North.

-- A devotional with a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Stake Fireside

Humanitarian Service Opportunity

Wednesdays from 9:000am - 12:00pm

833 East 500 North - American Fork, UT

Blankets can be picked up in the Relief Society Room to crochet around. The humanitarian group accepts donations -- if you have spare yarn, or even grocery bags (laid flat) they will take them. They also sell some items, all proceeds go to helping further the humanitarian aid. I've heard they have hand made items like blessing dresses, jewelry, even clothing items donated by stores, and even puzzles. Check it out each Wednesday morning from 9:00am-12:00pm at the Stake Center.

Ward Choir

Practices are now Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 9:45 in the Relief Society room. There is a unifying spirit in choir that is a unique and beautiful experience, and we invite all of you to come enjoy that with us. The family history center in the Alpine Tabernacle is now open.

Want to get started exercising? Come join the exercise group!

Monday - Tabata Exercise at 8:15am

Wednesday - Yoga at 8:15am

This exercise group meets at the "White Church" located on 300 North and 700 East American Fork. Feel free to bring your littles, they play while you build friendships and get a work out!
